The
AQ Profile
More than 500,000 people worldwide have measured
their Adversity Quotient®, or their AQ®, by completing the
AQ Profile
— a series of scientifically engineered questions developed
by PEAK Learning®.
An exceptionally robust measure of resilience, the AQ Profile is the only
statistically
valid, reliable tool in existence for measuring AQ. The people
who have completed this profile reflect a broad range of backgrounds,
ages, cultures, industries, and occupations; they have all contributed
to the growing AQ global database.
Four CORE dimensions
Completing the AQ Profile requires only 8 to 10 minutes.
It measures AQ and its four “CORE” dimensions —
Control, Ownership, Reach, and Endurance — that relate to
a person’s perception of adversity.
Control
measures the degree of control that a person perceives he/she has
over adverse events. It is a strong gauge of resilience and health.
Ownership
measures the extent to which a person holds himself or herself accountable
for improving a situation. It is a strong gauge of accountability
and likelihood to take action.
Reach
is the perception of how large or far-reaching events will be. It
is a strong gauge of perspective, burden, and stress level.
Endurance
is the perception of time over which good or bad events and their
consequences will last or endure. It is a strong gauge of hope or
optimism.
Two versions of the AQ Profile
PEAK now offers two assessment products —
a Developmental
AQ Profile and Screening
AQ Profile — which are available online. Our Developmental AQ Profile
helps assess the resilience of individuals who are already part
of your organization. Our new Screening AQ Profile helps you screen job
applicants so you can hire the right people for your organization.
