| Created as part of an ongoing
effort to expand and accelerate our knowledge of human resilience,
the Global Resilience Project is a worldwide effort involving a
consortium of researchers. Its primary goal is to evolve new insights
and methods for Adversity Quotient® (AQ®) and related fields.
The GRP coalesces a community of scholars who are interested in
advancing the study of all aspects of resilience. These researchers
range from graduate students to experienced investigators who routinely
delve into the broad spectrum and many dimensions of resilience.
They have conducted studies in 13 countries, exploring applications
of AQ and tools for strengthening human resilience.
Dr.
Paul Stoltz, CEO of PEAK
Learning®, initiated the GRP in 1986, when he began studying
the many aspects of the “human operating system.” People,
like systems, must continually upgrade to remain strong and thrive
in today’s challenging and complicated world. One’s
resilience has a direct relationship to work and life.
